About Countesthorpe Bowls Club

Leicestershire is a popular area for lawn bowls and, formed in 1934, Countesthorpe is a long standing member of the bowls fraternity. With teams in several leagues, and social mixed matches we play almost 200 matches per season. Members can play as often, or as little as they wish. With a licensed bar we also cater for the social side of the game with a drink after the match and frequent social events in the evenings.

First sessions for new bowlers are free so why not come down and give us a try? We are a friendly bunch! We have two qualified coaches who run friendly informal sessions to help you with your game.

We have a large car park, and suitable access for disabled bowlers and spectators.
